When the Madrid sides meet, there are usually fireworks, and whilst a low scoring tactical battle may be on the cards, we reckon it will be a highly charged match full of incidents.

A few stats to start us of.
Over the past three season, the sides have met 13 times, with a total of 27 goals scored in those - an average of just 2.07 goals per game.
Those games have produced 99 yellow cards and 2 reds - thats 7.6 yeallow cards per match. Given only one of those card has been shown to a goal keeper, any outfield player has at best a 1 in 3 chance of being shown a yellow.
Within that stat, there are a few players who seem to rise to the occasion more aggressively than others. For Atletico, Koke and Godin stand out particularly.
Koke have been booked in 7 of his 12 starts over the past three seasons in this fixture, while Godin tops that with cards collected in 8 out of 13 matches. He's set to start at the back in a weakened defence on Tuesday and could well be among the first names into the refs book.
For Real Madrid, the names stand out more than others. Danial Carvajal - booked five times in 12 starts in this fixture, Sergio Ramos - 8 cards in 11 matches, and Casemiro - 3 starts, 3 cards!
`
Koke looks big at 15/8 on the derby stats, but he has managed to keep himself reasonably out of trouble during his career, so there is a fair chance that stat is something of a blip.
Godin however should be relied upon to get himself cautioned. He has picked up 10 cards in La Liga already this season and has form in this fixture. He's 13/10 with Paddy Power for a card.
Daniel Carvajal is 9/4 and that looks a huge price for a man booked 11 times in La Liga and with almost a 50% strike rate in this fixture.
Likewise Casemiro looks long at 6/4 with Uni Bet - he's been carded 8 times in 17 matches, and also in each of his three appearances in this match.
Finally, get involved with Sergio Ramos as well, he's appealing in a priceboost with Sky Bet at 5/1 on both him and Godin to be booked at 5/1.
1pt Godin to be Carded at 13/10
1pt Godin and Ramos both to be carded at 5/1
2pts Carvajal to be carded at 9/4
1pt Casemiro to be carded at 6/4
1pt Carvajal, Casemiro, Ramos and Godin all the be carded at 25/1 (Sky Bet RequestaBet)
