Man City v West Brom

Man City entertain West Brom on Tuesday night, with the bookies offering nothing longer than 1/6 about their chances of three points. With just one defeat all season at the Etihad, that's probably a fair assessment against a side who have won just three away ties this campaign.

It's hard to justify backing a 1/6 shot though, and the -1 handicap isnt any more appealing at 4/9. Instead, we should consider the tempting 5/6 about Man City keeping a clean sheet in this one given West Brom appear to have lost their shooting boots lately.

Since February, West Brom have played 10 Premier League matches, and they have only managed to find the net against Burnley (2-2) and Arsenal (3-1). The other eight have seen them draw a blank, and it's remarkable that they look like finishing the season in such a strong position given that capitulation.

With 16 goals against at the Etihad this season, only Chelsea, Spurs and Man United can boast a tighter record at home, so the 5/6 about a clean sheet has to appeal - especially given Man City need to continue winning to fend off any threat to Champions League participation next season.
