- This is the first time since 2002 that a Dutch club has reached a UEFA Cup/Europa League final (Feyenoord) - Manchester United are the third English side in five seasons to reach the final (Chelsea in 2013 and Liverpool in 2016).

- The Dutch club have lifted the trophy in six of their last eight major European finals whilst the Red Devils have won four of their six; those two defeats coming in the most recent appearances however (2008/09 and 2010/11 Champions League finals versus Barcelona).

- Manchester United have gone 10 matches unbeaten in this competition (W7 D3); conceding just four goals in that time.

- This will be Ajax's 54th game of the season - a club record. Ajax have won 34, drawn 11 and lost eight.

- Man United have played 62 games this season, winning 34, drawing 19 and losing nine.

- Man United will be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic. When missing the Swede, United have lost 24% of matches this season (10% with him) and won just 48% (59% with him)

- Over 2.5 Goals has won in eight of Ajax's last 10 matches.

- Under 2.5 Goals has won in eight of Man United last 10 matches!
