Spence can silence Brook

When Kell Brook and Errol Spence step out at Bramall Lane on Saturday night, plenty of intriguing questions will finally be answered. Make no mistake, this is a big fight, and great cases can be made for both men.

Brook has answered pretty much every challenge he's ever been asked to meet - with one small exception after Gennady Golovkin inflicted Brooks first and only career blemish at the O2 last September. Many felt it was a gamble for Brook to move up the weights for that one, and that fight puts two big doubts squarely on his shoulders.

Firstly, how difficult will he have found making weight for this one. Coming down to 147lbs from 160 can't have been easy - especially given he had to bulk up for the 160 in the first place. His camp have been making really positive noises, but we'll probably only find out for sure on Saturday.

Second, is his fitness 100% or will there be any legacy to the broken eye socket he suffered against Golovkin. It should be ok, but again, Saturday will be the real moment of revelation.

Then we come to Spence. An up and coming southpaw, journeying to England for his first fight outside North America. He's seen as the real deal, and is generally considered the next big thing in boxing by most who know the game, and he boasts an impressed 21-0 (18KOs) career record. The doubt about Spence is that so far, he hasnt fought a real champion. The likes of Leonard Bundu and Chris Algieri have been stern tests, but we still need to see what he does when faced with a real top top opponent.

Spence has a real speed to him, and listening to those who really know the sport from the inside out, he's being confident tipped by the most knowledgable in the sport. With enough doubts about Brook, and the feeling this is the moment Spence announces himself, we're going to side with the favourite here to silence the Bramall Lane crowd.

Given the power in the ring on Saturday, we'll also back Spence to win by KO or TKO - extending his impressive run.

Spence to win at 8/13

Spence to win by KO or TKO at 15/8
