Tight at the Top

FA Cup Finals can be tight at the best of times, but when seriously competent sides clash, they can be extra nervy - and slow starting.

Neither side will want give any ground in the first half, and there has been a strong trend for goalless first halves in the final over the years - nine of the last 17 have gone into the break without a goal, making the odds of 12/5 look pretty generous.
That's further strengthened when you consider that five of the last six between sides in the top six of the Premier League has played to the script, and that makes this a confident bet.
Chelsea should be the better rested team, having enjoyed the luxury of resting a few players at the end of the season, but at 4/5 on a neutral venue we can't quite bring ourselves to trust them to win this in a game which could be settled on extremely fine margins.
Half time score to be 0-0 at 12/5
