Election Update

Labour continue to reel in the Conservative slowly but surely, and whilst it surely won't be enough, Corbyn did appear to come out on top when Paxman went about his work on Monday night.

The latest projections from YouGov are beginning to suggest that the Tories could lost their majority, and although that might have been hard to fathom a month ago, the momentum certainly seems to be with Labour, and it could just prove a good bet.

While we are a little hesitant to read too much into this given the potential underpolling of the older, more Conservative voting population, Betfair's 7/1 on no overall majority being scored looks a reasonable speculative bet, and that's how we will open our general election portfolio.

We'll also take a punt on Corals 200-249 seats at 5/2 as a cover bet, banking on at least some ground swell to continue for Labour.

No Overall Majority at 7/1

Labour Total Seats 200-249 at 5/2
