John Isner made slightly hard work of Jordan Thompson in the first round, and that could work against him when he takes on Paolo Lorenzi on Thursday.

Lorenzi comes into this fresh as a daisy after beating Richard Berankis 6-0 6-2 6-4, and he is serving well enough to ensure Isners poor return game is put under serious pressure.
Lorenzi has a hold % of 79.9% over his 23 clay court matches this season, and 24.8% break rate. Combined those come out at 103.7% which is more than reasonable.
Isner is serving as well as anyone on tour, at 92.4%, but his return rate is just 5% over his eight matches, and that simply has to improve if he is to justify odds of 2/5.
We prefer Lorezni at the odds who much prefers the dirt surface, and appeals to us at 21/10 with William Hill
