Horse Whispers

Wetherby didn't bring us any joy on Tuesday, so we make the short hop over to Ripon for Wednesday where we fancy a handy looking 4-year-old who could have some improvement from a decent recent showing.

Pumblechook goes again for his new trainer Mark Johnston, and we are expecting some improvement after a highly credible 3rd at Pontefact over a slightly shorter trip. That was the first time out since October, so there is every reason to expect more this time given he will go off the same mark and against a much more beatable field.

2/1 is generally available with plenty of firms, and it should go off shorter in the 8.35pm.
