Sorana Cirstea can make it four wins on the trot against Kiki Bertens when the pair meet in the first round on Tuesday.

The Romanian has won all three previous encounters between the pair, and adjusts rather better to the surface than her opponent. Despite being ranked 24th in the world, Bertens has won just six matches on grass in her entire career, and has never been past the third round here. The same can be said of Cirstea of course as far as Wimbledon is concerned but a 25-26 career record on the surface suggests she should have the better of this one.

Cirstea perhaps could have gone deeper into the Eastbourne event were it not for an early meeting with Johana Konta, while Bertens went to Majorca, but retired with an ankle injury against Sabine Lisicki. Take the Romanian at 4/5 is the advice in this one.

Anastasia Potapova is a young player we are likely to hear much more of in the future, but she could find tomorrow's match up with Tatjana Maria has come a little too soon. The Russian is still just 16 years old, and already has a Wimbledon juniors title under her belt, but the Ladies game is generally seeing players break through much later these days, and we fancy Tatjana Maria to prove too tough a nut to crack.

Maria is 8-6 against Top 100 players on grass over the past three seasons, and is a steady enough player. She prefers the faster courts, and her best records have come indoors and on grass, and she comes into this one fresh from winning the Southsea title. While its not a full WTA tour event, she beat four fellow top 100 players to win the title (Hibino, Brady, Rodina and Begu), all without dropping a set, so she has to be fancied to play well again.

Potapova has only once faced a top 100 player - losing to Maria Sakkari, and we can't resist backing Maria at 8/11 in this one.

Zarina Diyas can enjoy a straightforward victory when she meets Xinyun Han for the fourth time. She's always enjoyed playing the Chinese lady, and has dropped just eight games in six sets between the pair. Four of the six sets have been won to love or to one, and we fancy a repeat at some fancy odds in this one.

Diyas has always liked playing on grass and boasts a career 40-17 record. She took down the Manchester title a fortnight ago, beating Naomi Broady and Arina Rodoinova amongst others, and has been a finalist at Nottingham in the past, and as far as the fourth round at Wimbledon also.

Han is just 7-14 on grass and has never been past the first round at SW19.
