We talked a little yesterday about the importance of success at any given trip when considering the chances of any runner, and we are following a similar script for Friday in identifying Camerone as a value prospect in the 4.00pm at Ascot.

A winner recently over this trip at Beverley, this Ralph Beckett runner is also the beneficiary of an age for weight allowance, that see's three year olds granted a break relative to the distance. With this raced over 1m 4f, Camerone takes full advantage.
Beckett has a strong record at exploiting this angle over the years, with a 33% strike rate on 3 year olds when running flat, open age handicaps at this sort of distance.
With that in mind, we'll suggest one unit on Camerone at 3/1
