Russia did the business for us on Monday, and it's the turn of Austria and Switzerland in Tuesday's 5pm kick off to entertain us, and we believe the Swiss Ladies represent terrific value at the 5/6 on offer with BetWay.

Let's start with the FIFA World Rankings, which see Switzerland sitting seven places higher - 17th compared to 24th. That shouldn't be a huge difference, but their relative stats suggest it could be more telling than first appears.
We started by looking at Switzerland's record against sides currently ranked between 14th and 34th in the world - so 10 places either side of Austria's current ranking. We went back to the start of the calendar year 2014, so a shade over three seasons. That revealed Switzerland have acheived a 6-1-1 record - and interestingly only on of those eight matches came against a side ranked lower than Austria - the majority fell into the ranking group of 18th-22nd. In those eight games, they enjoyed a 21-6 goal scoring ratio. Quite impressive really - an average of 2.6 goals scored for just 0.75 against.
Looking at Austria, we evaluated their record against sides ranked 10th-24th - we shrunk the range slightly to avoid getting too heavily into the real "elite" of the womens games, where the quality of teams rises quite rapidly. That produced an outcome of 2-3-5, with a goals ratio of 11-15.
It feels reasonable to expect Switzerland to be around a goal better than Austria in this one, but the quotes of a shade of odds on suggest the bookmakers make this closer to 0.5 goals difference on average.
That's enough to bring out the betting cheque book, and we'll just a 2pt bet on this one such is the confidence.
2pts Switzerland to beat Austria at 5/6
