After a slow start to the competition, Germany will relish the prospect of facing Russia, who should be there for the taking without too much fuss. It probably comes at a good time for the reigning Champions to deliver a big performance to get some momentum going before the knock out phase.

The 4-0 is on offer at 6/1, but for considerably better odds, it could be worth backing the 4-1, which is 19/1 with Paddy Power. That was the score when the pair met back in 2014, while Germany were 4-0 winners in September last year.
