A competitive handicap at Brighton on Thursday sees Prendergast Hill coming with high hopes of getting a first win of the season under his belt. Trained by Ed De Giles, one with a very good record in handicaps over the years - this runner has enjoyed great form this season already, with three second places and two thirds, without quite finding the right conditions to get a win on the board.

De Giles also has a decent record when partnering with Callum Shephard - winning 10 of their 53 shared endeavors over the past five years.
A return to good/firm ground should suit as well which is another tick in the box, and we could see a front running performance to stretch those who can't handle the quicker pace. We reckon this could be the time to get aboard at a tasty enough 5/1 with a host of firms.
1pt e/w Prendergast Hill to win at 5/1 (General)
