We're late to the party this week, but for good reason. The market drift on Everton which has seen the Toffees out to 4/5 for their home match represents great value ahead of kick-off at Goodison today.

Wayne Rooney will be making his debut of course, and the Everton XI looks full of class, and it was a side who finished 17 points ahead of Stoke last season, and a full 33 goals better when goal difference is used to evaluate their performances. Stoke have been quiet thus far during the transfer window, so there is no reason to expect a particular improvement, while Everton have also added Michael Keane to thier line-up and should be stronger for it.

We'd expected more like 8/13 about the home win so to see 4/5 is a gift from the betting gods ahead of this one.

2.5pts Everton to beat Stoke at 4/5 Generally
