The first El Classico of the season promises to be a cracker, and it's interesting to see the bookmakers quoting Barcelona as their strong favourites in this one.

Both sides expect to name experienced first XI's, and while Real Madrid are likely to be without Gareth Bale and Luca Modric, Barcelona will themselves we looking to working out how they move forward under new coach Ernesto Valverde and in the new era following the departure of Neymar - Gerard Deulofeu should fill his spot in this one.
The match takes place at the Camp Nou which explains the odds on Barcelona at 11/10, while Real Madrid are being backed at 9/4 on the news that Ronaldo is likely to start.
We're not usually into tipping up heavy odds on shots, but when these two meet there are almost always goals, and the stats support a good bet at 2/5 on Both Teams to Score. Both sides have scored in 20 of the last 21 meetings between the pair now since the start of the 2011/12 season.
It's worth noting that 11 of those 21 have also seen four or more goals, so we'll take a small play on the Over 3.5 Goals at 11/10 with Paddy Power which looks a spot of value. Neither side have shown any let up in their approach in recent years.
The match is live on Sky Sports at 9pm.
5pts Both Teams to Score at 2/5
2pts Over 3.5 Goals at 11/10
