Valencia v Las Palmas

Las Palmas could find life in La Liga a struggle this season, following the departure of a few keys names. The Spanish side finished last campaign with 13 defeats from their last 18 matches, and last won a home league game in August 2016 (curiously against Valencia!) - losing their last seven trips on the road in succession.

The loss of midfielder Roque Mesa wont make things any easier this time around, while Jese has gone back to PSG without making his loan move permanent.
Taking account of that, and their woeful away record last season which saw them finish the season with a 1-3-15 record and a negative 29 goal difference on the road, Valencia can take advantage to get their season off to a flyer.
Without the distractions of Europe this year, its a fair bet that Valencia will finish much higher than last season's 12th - an outcome that was their worst finish since 1987/88!
Valencia to beat Las Palmas at 5/6 (Generally)
