Europa League Qualifiers

We'll know who our Europa League Group participants are on Thursday evening, and we're confident Viktoria Plzen will make the cut and win in Cyprus when they face AEK Larnaca.

Czech teams have a much better pedigree in Europe than Cypriot sides, and the first leg saw Plzen win comfortably 3-1. With a strong start to their domestic campaign which has seen them win all four opening matches they should be in high spirits, and an away win looks overpriced at 13/5.

Another side who should be trusted on the road are Legia Warsaw when they arrive at FC Sheriff in Moldova. Legia were hugely unlucky in the first leg, dominating the match - they won the shots-on-target count 6-1. After a 1-1 draw, the onus will be on Legia to take the match to Sheriff, and they should have the quality to force the issue. They will know they need to score at least once given the away goals rule.
Ranked 74th in UEFA's coefficients (compared to FC Sheriffs 145th), Warsaw have reached the group stages in five of the past six seasons. Only a one goal play-off defeat in the 2011/12 season blotted their otherwise excellent recent record. 11/10 is available with Betfair Sportsbook and Betfred.
