Burton are widely regarded as one of the favourites to go down - that's according to the football pundits and the bookies - and we aren't in a position to disagree on the evidence of what we've seen. Four games in, Burton have allowed their opponents 75 shots on goal, and 28 of those have hit the target. At the other end, they have put just 24 at their opponents and got just eight on target. Whichever way you look at it, they are a side with plenty of work to do.

Sheffield Wednesday are the visitors on Saturday, and we fancy the Owls to grab an important victory. They are going to need to keep collecting points as they are bound to be amongst that annual play-off chasing pack, and they know enough about this division to understand the importance of getting an early run going. It's been a slow start, and they need to get going now. Back them to win at 6/5.

Preston have looked a well organised unit under Alex Neil this season and there is every chance they can make life difficult for Middlesbrough when the pair come together at the Riverside.

The goal that Derby put past them came from the penalty spot of course, and as underdogs, Neil will be sending his troops into battle with a clear game plan of killing things off and keeping it all tight. A 0-0 would suit them just fine, so we fancy the under 1.5 goals here, and keep a 1-0 either way under our belts for a little insurance at an attractive 5/2.

Finally in the division, Millwall look overpriced when they face Norwich - a side in something of a transitional period under a manager who is just getting to grips with the division and the English game.

Seriously unlucky to lose 4-3 to Ipswich just over a week ago, Millwall have created a lot without much reward thus far this season - indeed against the Tractor Boys they created 23 shots at goal for just eight against - yet lost the match 4-3 - Ipswich scored with every shot on target in fact! They dominated both Bolton and Forest without reward, and were a match for Bristol City last week where they shared the spoils.

Norwich haven't proved themselves to us just yet, and it would be no huge surprise to see them falter this season and fall someway shy of the play-offs. That could potentially be somewhere close to Millwall of course, so the odds in this one which struggle to split the pair seem harsh on the Lions given they will enjoy home advantage.

With just four home defeats all season last campaign, we are prepared to trust them to get the job done against Norwich at 7/4 in this one.
