Another 2nd place on Friday - we're knocking on the door, but no-one has opened it yet!

Astrum looks an excellent value selection in the 2:30pm at Stratford, having been extremely consistent at this level, running off a nice weight and coming up against a field that is questionable to say the least.
He already has 14 races under his belt at this standard, and has placed in no fewer than nine of those. He also won here over the same distance back in April, so ticks that box as well. His last run out came just 4 days ago, where he ran a decent 2nd place at Hexham, and this looks more than winnable.
While Minstrel Rotal is a real threat, he comes here giving plenty of weight to his rival, and that could be key, while he has also been off the track for a while so may be a little green in this.
1pt Astrum to win the 2.30 at Stratford at 7/2
