League Two Tips

Our piece yesterday on home/away advantage in different leagues showed League Two as one of the divisions where home advantage is least important generally. One side on the road this weekend who could be worth backing are Lincoln when they visit Stevenage.

It's a pretty short hop over for the Imps, so they should arrive fresh enough, and despite what the league table may say after five games, have arguably been a better side than Stevenage.

Their draw with the highly rated Luton last week underlined that, while they also dominated the matches with Exeter and Morecambe without reward, so could be higher than their mid-table position suggests.

Goals should be plentiful at Mansfield v Grimsby on Saturday, and even money on their being three or more is a decent value bet in this one. Mansfield urgently need to kick start their season, and nothing but a strong tilt at the title will be acceptable this campaign.

Grimsby are a poor side, and will surely be somewhere towards the foot of the table, but do possess some danger, and are taking their chances efficiently this season so far.

Both sides have scored in each of Mansfield's last four games, and this could easily be a 3-1 or a 4-1 potentially.
