Malaga enjoyed very good home form last season, propelling them safely into mid-table. They collected 20 points from nine matches against bottom half sides with a 6-2-1 record, and will welcome Las Palmas with confidence on Monday.

The visitors were rather less impressive on their travels - collecting just four points from their nine matches - 1-1-7, and they haven't opened the season well this time around, losing 5-1 at home to Athletico Madrid and 1-0 away at Valencia.

It's early in the season, and both teams have lost star men over the summer to the clutches of richer shores, but they have enough in common with last season that we'll chuck a minor stake at Malaga in this one in the expectation of continued trouble on the road for Las Palmas.

0.5pts Malaga to beat Las Palmas at 21/20
