We're very sorry to report that yesterday's Tip of the Day - Johnny Go - fell awkwardly at the first at Perth, and was fatally injured in the incident. Never something we want to see happening in racing. Our thoughts are with all those connected to the horse who will be understandably distressed.

We move onto Tuesday in sombre mood, and War Glory gets the nod in the 4:25pm at Leicester. This Richard Hannon / Ryan Moore combination is clearly primed for a big run here, and the distance looks ideal - he has placed in six of his nine efforts over this distance and three from four at this level. If he can translate his all-weather form effectively, he can certainly reward punters, and having Ryan Moore onboard is enough to persuade us to chuck a small bet at this one.
War Glory to win the 4:25 at Leicester at 7/2
