The early money has already started to flow for Dan Troop at Chester on Saturday, and we believe it's worth getting on sooner rather than later.

An easy winner over course and distance in July, Richard Fahey's runner is up in the weights for that seven length win, but is the youngest in the field and should have plenty of improvement still to come. He's up 13lbs but so are plenty of his more attractive rivals, including Kenstone (9lb) and King's Pavillion (6lb).

While he's yet to experience the heavy going in race conditions, Dan Troop won his only start on soft, while there are plenty in the field who may struggle to handle the going, including Alejandro, Kenstone and Ice Slave.

1pt Dan Troop to win the 15:15 at Chester at 3/1
