League One has been pretty kind to us this season so far - long may it continue! The shot data is serving up Southend as a nice strong bet this weekend, but the arrival of Jimmy-Floyd at Northampton and their upturn in fortunes is enough to put us firmly off that short term trend.

Instead, let's head to Wigan where Bristol Rovers can reward us with another high scoring affair for a third week running. The Pirates league matches so far this season have produced 1,5,5,4,4,3,5 goals, while a further 12 have come from three cup matches. It's certainly rarely boring.
Our ratings make another "Over 2.5" game around a 4/7 chance, so the 4/5 on offer with a number of firms looks worth backing for more goals in this one.
1pt Wigan v Bristol Rovers Over 2.5 Goals at 4/5
0.5pts Wigan v Bristol Rovers Over 3.5 Goals at 15/8
Despite the obvious travel challenges which Plymouth face on a regular basis, they managed no fewer than 13 away wins last season, and they will be hoping to extend that good run at Bury this weekend.
The hosts have not started the season well and lost more home games than any other side in the division last season, so are clearly vulnerable. Their shot data this season is further evidence that it could be opposing Bury. After seven matches they have mustered just 58 shots on goal (26 on target) and have faced 93 against (43 on target). Compared to Plymouth than looks poor - the Pilgrims have a 96-98 shot record and 26-41 on target.
Bury are no bigger than 5/4 to win this weekend, which has opened up an opportunity on the visitors, and the 23/10 looks a fair bet in a match where neither team brings too much confidence into the fixture. That means much of the same as last season to Bury, while Plymouth may have more chance of recovering that winning feeling sooner.
Plymouth to beat Bury at 23/10
