Addrastos could only get home in 3rd yesterday after leading out strongly, so we head to Redcar looking for better fortune on Tuesday.

The Andrew Mullen ridden Placebo Effect is who we have our eyes on, who is the only runner proven over this trip (2 wins from three starts) and also the pick on the goal (2 wins from three starts on soft ground).
The field looks really weak in fact, and plenty can be ruled out for lack of form or lack of experience. Of the 11 in the field, only two have won on soft ground previously, only three have won at class 6 or better (including Placebo Effect) and only our pick has won over the distance.
The 3/1 on offer with a range of firms looks perfectly reasonable about a runner who has won three times already this season and looks the most promising of this young crop of novices.
2pts Placebo Effect at win the 1:50pm at Redcar at 3/1
