Well you can't accuse us of being favourite backers..... four tips tonight and we're with the outsider in every game. This time it is Sporting Lisbon, who we think can keep Barcelona at least partially honest.

Barcelona have of course silenced their doubters with seven wins on the bounce since the Super Cup defeat to Real Madrid, a run that included a 3-0 win over Juventus, so clearly must be respected, but are they a 4/9 shot away from home in this one?

They face a Sporting side who are unbeaten all season so far, including fine away wins at Olympiakos (3-2) and Steaua (5-1).

Betfair Sportsbook offer 21/10 about Sporting with a +1 start (the bet wins if Sporting win, or the match is a draw), while the alternative is taking them with a +2 start, meaning you would win as long as Barcelona only win by one goal or fewer. We'll split our stakes on the two bets.

0.5pts Sporting +1 at 21/10

1.1pts Sporting +2 at 8/11
