QPR v Fulham

QPR are 9/4 to beat Fulham at home, and that's a price which simply screams out to us as a bet on Friday night. Of course we said the same when they took on Burton last Saturday, a match they ultimtely drew 0-0, but they arguably did enough to win that one so we're prepared to give them a second chance.

Since then they have drawn 1-1 at Barnsley - another match where they saw the better of the exchanges, and prior to that they gave a good account of themselves up at Middlesbrough and fired in a whopping 31 shots (14 on target) against Millwall, but had to settle for a draw. So whilst their actual results over the past few weeks look poor on paper, dig a little deeper and it's clear they could have picked up many more points. Expect their luck to change soon.

We aren't going to try to make out a big case for why Fulham are there for the taking. This is all about the price, and Fulham look to be a genuine mid-table side this season. That's about the same as QPR, so the odds of 9/4 are just too long for the home side. Fulham put in decent efforts at Forest and against Boro, but nothing to suggest they are a top six club just yet.

With five games unbeaten under their belt at Loftus Road, trust QPR at a big price here.
