Notts County did us proud in midweek as they won 3-0 at Exeter, following up an equally impressive 4-1 victory over Lincoln. That makes it six straight wins and 11 unbeaten for the Magpies, and manager Kevin Nolan must feel his stock rising by the day.

They travel to Mansfield this week, tipped by many (including us) to win the division, but things haven't started well for the Stags and it's time to oppose them this week despite what we said a month or so ago. The away side look good enough value at 5/2 with Betfair Sportsbook to warrant a bet.

1pt Notts County to beat Mansfield at 5/2

When you make a bet, you bet on the price available versus the probability you believe that outcome has of winning.

Making a strong case for Crawley is a touch difficult. They are a reasonably mediocre side, who have probably not quite had the rub of the green and find themselves in 19th place in the table. They take on Carlisle this weekend - a side just a point ahead and on the same goal difference.

Crucially Carlisle won 5-0 at Crewe recently though, which really masks a poor goal difference for the rest of the season, and the shot data also supports Crawley being the better of the two sides through the season.

It's hard to explain just why they are going to smash Carlisle to bits. They might do, they might not. What is certain though, is that our shots model makes Crawley a great bet at 2/1 in this one, and we expect them to go off shorter by 3pm.

We focussed on the away sides in midweek with some great success, and we are going to back Accrington for a second away triumph inside a week when they go to Forest Green.

The newly promoted side are posting some horrific numbers and are justifiably bottom of the division, with just one win and 25 goals against after 10 matches.

Accrington are looking for a fourth consecutive win on the road and are really beginning to establish themselves at this level, and a promotion push looks well within their abilities.
