Keeping things very brief today, Heatongrad has proved plenty enough to warrant our backing at 7/2 today in the 2:55 at Pontefract.
Already thrice a winner over this trip (1m to 1m1f) from seven starts, this three year old has also won his only races at this class and on today's soft going - including when running out a comfortable winner at Epsom last week.
He has gone up 6lbs for that win, but that looks generous to say the least given the nature of the victory and he's surely the class of the field here.
The market rates The Grape Escape while Mushaireb would be our view of the most likely challenger, but at 7/2 Heatongrad looks a great chance here, and gets an e/w nod.
