Sometimes it pays to strike early, and that sometimes is now, as we look ahead to Sunday's Japanese Moto GP.
The weather forecasts are looking pretty nasty for the rest of the weekend, so there is a strong chance we see a wet race, and for a couple of riders that's a massive bonus.

The Championship has shaped itself into a battle between Marc Marquez, Andrea Dovizioso and Maverick Vinales, although with Marquez collecting 120 points in his last six races, he's absolutely the man in form right now. For context, Dovizioso gained 93 in that spell, and Vinales 85.
The good news for Dovizioso is that he's the man who is most likely to take advantage of the weather. While Marquez is consitent on a damp track, he doesn't get the same advantage over his usual weekend performances, and the 9/2 on Dovi looks really appealing.
The other man to try a little bet on this weekend is Danilo Petruci, who is 14/1 with Paddy Power. In a wet race that's massive - he should probably be around half that price. You're getting nearly 3/1 for a podium finish if you bet that one e/w and that's just too long. The Italian has finished on the podium in each of the three wet races this season.
1pt e/w Andrea Dovizioso at 9/2 (3 places, 1/5)
1pt e/w Danilo Petrucci at 14/1 (3 places, 1/5)
