In League Two there is no real reason that Morecambe should be as long as 21/10 for their home match with Port Vale on Tuesday. This is a match between two sides who are arguably as bad as each other.

The Shrimpers have only put 13 points on the board, while Port Vale have been even less efficient with a grand total of eight points from 13 matches so far.

The shot data paints a slightly more interesting picture though. Morecambe have posted 140-204 in terms of shots, compared to a much more credible 115-119 from Port Vale, but Vale have failed to convert those chances, with a 35-54 total in shots on target, compared to Morecambe's 53-65.

This is likely to be a tight affair one way or another, and our ratings have Morecambe closer to 6/4 than the 21/10 posted by Bet365 ahead of this one.

1pt Morecambe to beat Port Vale at 21/10

Regular readers will know we tend to be quite sweet on Wycombe this season, and we won't be breaking the pattern this week when they visit Carlisle.

The Cubrians have scored just twice in their last five outings and have fired three successive blanks in front of their own fans now (0-1 v Exeter, 0-1 v Leicester U23 and 0-2 v Stevenage). In fact they haven't won at home since August now.

Wycombe secured a reasonable point at home to Exeter last weekend, but would have gone home disappointed after creating the better chances, and prior to that they had won four on the bounce. The only side to beat them since August are on-song Luton, so there is plenty to like about the Chairboys.
