Crewe offer a good opportunity to get back into top gear though at an important time of the season - currently Colchester are just six points adrift of the play off race and November is typically a month where the gaps start widening and dreams begin to fade.

Crewe have now lost 10 of their last 13 including their last five away games. In fact, despite their poor form this season they have actually played 12 home games already to just 6 away, so it might be even worse.
