Starting in the 4pm KO, we reckon Marseille are being over-rated as 8/15 shots when they take on Caen. Our ratings (calculated by looking at season and recent form shot data) suggest this could be much more level contest.

Caen have allowed fewer shots on goal than any side in Ligue 1 this season (just 103) so will not make life easy. The overall shot data shows Marseille boasting a 165-147 record, while Caen are 138-103. There really isn't a gulf between these two and just three points splits them in the table.
1pt Caen +1 to beat Marseille
St Etienne are worth supporting as well at a decent 10/3 at home to Lyon. We won't try and argue the home side are better - of course they aren't - but there has to be value in the price given the strong start to the season St Etienne have made so far. 131-135 is their shots tally (43-45 on target) and it's reasonable to expect them to finish somewhere in the upper midtable range. Lyon won't reliably beat that sort of opponent away from home so shouldn't be considered an odds-on shot in this one.
Additionally, St Etienne have won their home fixture against Lyon in each of the last three seasons, and the odds have always ensured a handsome return for anyone backing the home team.
1pt St Etienne to beat Lyon at 10/3
