After a winner on Saturday, we head down to Wolverhampton after a couple of day's off, where we fancy Jack of Diamonds to land a class 6 Apprentice Handicap.

The Roger Teal trained eight year old has already won seven times at between 1m and 1m 1f (16% strike rate) and has hit a 40% place rate in that band. Once racing over 1m 2f his record falls to no wins from 16 starts and just 3 places, so the trip looks just right.
He finished last of 15 on his last outing, but that was in class 3 company, so the drop all the way back to class 6 is another big positive, as was the course and distance win back in September.
Finally, the all-weather is another big plus. Through his career, Jack of Diamonds has won just once from 31 starts on Turf, but has seven wins from 42 starts on the AW. If fact, you'd be ahead had you backed him e/w on all his all weather starts throughout his career, which is no mean feat.
1pt Jack of Diamonds to win the 4:50pm at Wolverhampton at 11/4
