The Quarter-Finals of the Grand Slam of Darts get underway in Wolverhampton, and we fancy Mensur Suljovic to get the better of Gary Anderson to set up a semi-final with either Peter Wright or Glen Durrant.

The Austrian was imperious against Berry van Peer in averaging 105.8, and won the match 10-2, and while Anderson was equally good against Michael Smith (averaging 106.9) on Wednesday, Suljovic could be an entirely tougher prospect.
He's known for his slow play, and that could really bother Anderson who likes to get on with things - with the Austrian 4-2 up in their head to head meetings. Interestingly, he's actually got a better leg record than that difference might suggest as well, as his two defeats came in the shorter format matches, losing 6-5 to Anderson twice in a row in Barnslet Players Championship matches in 2016 and 2017.
Overall the men have played 87 legs, with Suljovic winning 50 and losing 37. He probably shouldn't be as long as 12/5 to win this first to 16 legs encounter.
In 2017 the respective men's tournament records read as follows:
The Masters - Suljovic (QF) - Anderson (R/U)
UK Open - Suljovic (-) - Anderson (3rd Rd)
World Matchplay - Suljovic (QF) - Anderson (2nd Rd)
Champions League - Suljovic (Won) - Anderson (R/U)
World Grand Prix - Suljovic (SF) - Anderson (-)
European Championship - Suljovic (QF) - Anderson (-)
1pt Mensur Suljovic to beat Gary Anderson
