Brentford are a side who have been posting excellent underlying metrics all season, and whose slow start to the season in terms of points on the board saw us add them into our ante-post portfolio at the six-game mark. They host Fulham today, and look generously prices at odds-against given how things have begun to pick up for them.

They will have been hugely disappointed with a 2-2 draw at QPR in midweek given they led 2-0 going into second half stoppage time.
The Bees opened the season with just the one win in their opening 11 matches, and that win came in the EFL Cup, didn't exactly help them all that much. They have now lost just once in 11, with five wins and five draws in that spell. The only reversal came away at Cardiff which is arguably just about the toughest fixture of the season to win - the Bluebirds are yet to lost at their own place all season.
With Fulham's inconsistency this season, the 5/4 on Brentford represents decent value in our eyes in this one.
2pts Brentford to beat Fulham at 5/4 (General)
Elsewhere, it's a surprise to see Reading on offer as big as 12/5 for their trip to Sunderland, with the the market clearly beleiving Chris Coleman has brought a magic wand with him to rapidly change things around at the Stadium of Light.
The Black Cats have already lost at home to Bristol City, Cardiff, Nottm Forest, Sheffield United and Leeds this season, and Reading are being underrated to add their names to that list given recent results. They won 3-0 against Barnsley in midweek, drew 0-0 against an improving Sheffield Wednesday before that and also recently put four past Derby and three against Nottingham Forest.
All in all, the price looks attractive.
