As we approach the half way point in the season, Chesterfield are arguably the most improved team in League Two since the opening exchanges. With just five points from their opening 13 games, things looked pretty bleak for the Spireites, but they have since collected a further 12 pts from their next seven outings.

They take on Barnet on Saturday, in a battle between the bottom two in the division, and it is the home side who we feel have the strongest case in this one. Chesterfield are unbeaten in five league matches now, and have a 4-4-6 record under Jack Lester. Barnet have won a couple of their last three, but prior to that they were without a win in 14 matches.
