It might not look the most exciting fixture of the day, but Spal v Verona could play a big role in determining who ends up dropping out the the division at the end of the season.

The fixture comes at a useful time for Verona, who look to be playing much better football over the past 6-8 weeks compared to the awful start to the season they made. Verona progressed in the Coppa Italia last week after beating Chievo on penalties, and that followed up an away win at Sassuolo - fellow relegation battlers. Prior to that they twice led against Bologna, before ultimately succumbing.

Spal have lost their last three, and have been unable to get results from the few matches they have played against the other sides at the bottom, losing to Sassuolo and drawing with Crotone.

1pt Verona to beat Spal at 3/1 (BetVictor)
