Horse of the Day

We are off to Lingfield on Tuesday for our Horse of the Day, where Entertaining Ben gets the nod to follow up on back-to-back successes and complete a hattrick.

This field is littered with previous course and distance winners, so while our pick ticks that box, as a relative mark it isn't worth a lot, but this runner takes just a 6lb rise for his recent wins, and that looks achievable among company who he has regularly got the better of this season.

Amy Murphy is a trainer who has begun to catch the eye, and she can continue her impressive rise here.

Entertaining Ben has only three career wins in 29 starts, but it's worth noting that his form on this sort of run is much more impressive, having won twice and placed five times from 14 starts over this trip on the all-weather.
