We head to France for our daily football value, where we fancy Montpellier to win in Bordeaux. The hosts are in woeful form right now, having lost nine of their last 12 games, and won just once in that spell. They also failed to score in seven of those matches and are staring down the barrel of the relegation zone at the moment - just two points clear on the latest standings.

Montpellier are in altogether better form entirely - they have lost just twice in their last 15 outings and their away form reads DDDWWDW in their last seven on the road - conceding just twice in that run. They did lost to bottom side Metz last weekend, but prior to that thrashed Lyon 4-1, so they will be confident of bouncing back to form.
Montpellier are available at 14/5 in a host of places, and that looks decent value in our eyes.
1pt Montpellier to beat Bordeaux at 14/5
Another side in all sorts of bother are St Etienne, who have conceded 21 goals in their last seven matches, including a 5-0 reversal at the hands of Lyon, a 3-0 defeat at Lyon, 3-0 at Marseille and 4-0 at home to Monaco.
Guingamp might not be the most impressive side in the division, but odds of even money look fair on the home side who have lost just one of their nine home ties this season, which came against PSG who are steam-rollering everyone they meet this season. Since then they have won four and drawn four at home, and haven’t conceded a goal for four games now.
2pts Guingamp to beat St-Etienne at evens
