Regular followers will know we are never averse to an away win in League Two - a division which historically produces far more away victories than typical leagues. This season we've already seen 90 away wins compared to 127 home wins - so there isn't the same home advantage as most sides would typically expect to enjoy. We can speculate on the reasons for this trend, but the data stands up on it's own over a long period, so we're happy to take it at face value.

Colchester have been matching the trend, winning five times away from home (just six at home) this season, and they look worth backing to beat relegation threatened Chesterfield later today. The Us have been quietly going about their business and are just a point off automatic promotion as it stands after a run of five wins and two draws in their last 8 - 2nd place Notts County being the only side to stop them.
The Spireites looked to be picking up in November, but a disasterous 5-1 mauling at Stevenage, and a 2-0 reversal at home to Crewe last time out suggest it was nothing more than a flash in the pan revival and they have now lost four of their last five.
We'll also chuck a small wager on Sammie Szmodics - the pint sized forward to net at Colchester. He's scored in 11 of his 21 appearances for the Us this season, including in 5 of 10 away games. He's 23/10 to score again today.
2pts Colchester to beat Chesterfield at 7/5
1pt Sammie Szmodics to score anytime at 23/10
