Cardiff v Sunderland

The Bluebirds have been pretty kind to us this season and we reckon Cardiff could be worth backing again in the early kick off match live on Sky Sports. They host Sunderland and it looks a good opportunity to get their season back on track after a poor Christmas period that saw them lose at Bolton and QPR, and suffer home defeats to Fulham and Preston.

Sunderland haven’t fared any better really since Chris Coleman took over and have lost three of their last four without scoring a goal. In fact, they have scored more than once in just one of their 10 matches since Coleman joined, although at least their defence has been shored up somewhat - averaging 1.2 goals against per match in those outings - down from 1.94 before he joined.

It’s worth also noting that Sunderland’s 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest was a massive shock - Forest actually won the shot count 22-1 in that match, but came away with nothing to show for it.

Cardiff are the class team here and for a 3rd v Bottom clash its interesting to see them available at bigger than 8/11 with Betfred.
