We bring you two for the price of one on Monday, with both running at Catterick late in the day.

Starting with the 4:05, we fancy Straidnahanna to take down the tough 3m trip against a small field. Already a winner of four chases and a point-to-point over distances between 3m and 3m 6f, he certainly has the staying power for this, and we can overlook the fact he was pulled up in the Group 3 at Aintree last time out. Boric is the obvious threat, but carries 15lbs over his last success and that's a lot to shoulder in this one. Add in that Straidnahanna is three from three when turning out at this course, and trainer Sue Smith has also got a bit of history in this race, winning it three times before.
1pt e/w Straidnahanna at 9/4
While our first pick is at the head of the market, our second goes in the following race, and occupies the position of rank outsider according to the bookies.
This is a maiden that could spring a surprise, raced over 1m 7f, and its the sort of race that Lucinda Egerton enjoys best of all, with a great strike rate, so Welsh Rarebit looks to have been discounted cheaply.
A full-brother to Brandon Castle who won six times at 1m 4f to 1m 6f, there's enough blood heritage to suggest the 33/1 is long in this one against an unproven field.
0.5pts e/w Weslh Rarebit at 33/1
