We're at Leicester on Thursday hoping to see Crosspark return for a second consecutive victory in this race - and he goes off just 2 lbs higher than last year so has to be given a real chance of defending his title. With conditions looking soft underfoot, and a return to the sort of trip at which he excels, we can certainly be happy with the fourth place at Wawrick which was clearly a touch too long for him, and of course that run came in a Grade 3, so this is a decent drop in class from that day.

Into this sort of company, he has placed in four of his seven chases, and will surely be the one to beat today. 9/4 is still on offer, but that could very well shorten up in the market this morning, so get on immediately is the advice in this one.
