Championship - Best Bets

Just the one Saturday pick in the Championship, as we head over to Cardiff where the Bluebirds are inexplicably 6/4 to beat Middlesbrough, despite solid home form all season (they have won 10 of the 15 matches on their own turf).

Cardiff have won four and drawn three of their last eight matches, and the only reversal came at the hands of Manchester City, so it’s pretty fair to omit that from the results recently. They have also hit four goals in no fewer than three of those matches and only Wolves can boast a better home goal difference this season in the league.

Middlesbrough are a decent side themselves of course, it would be wrong to suggest otherwise, but they are down to ninth in the division now and aren’t dominating teams under the stewardship of Tony Pulis. In their last four games they have lost to an ordinary looking Norwich, and drawn 0-0 with Sheffield Wednesday.

The odds on the hosts look hugely appealing in this one with 6/4 available across the board.
