We're sat on a tremendous set of antepost positions this season, including decent odds on Crystal Palace and Stoke being relegated, Cardiff getting promoted, and of course that 150/1 speculative punt on Plymouth finishing in the top six. It's never too late to add to the portfolio however, and Grimsby look worth backing to be relegated as we head into the final few weeks of the season.

At the half-way point in the season, Grimsby fans were looking up the table at a very plausible run at the play-offs, but they have now gone 16 games without a win, and are just six points above the drop zone. They now face away matches to Lincoln and Coventry and it's hard to see them getting too much from those.

The are also one of the very few sides to have played 37 games, so those below them all have games in hand, and strong cases can be made for a couple of those. Morecambe for instance still have seven matches to play at home (Grimsby have just four).
