The final day gets underway with a Grade 1 hurdle, raced over 2m 1f. It's a decent looking heat with plenty of quality fighting it out.

Trends
- 19 out of 24 winners won their last start before the festival
- 11 of the last 13 were in the top four in the betting
- 10 of the last 12 were sent off at 13/2 or shorter
- French bred runners tend to go well
- Nicky Henderson has already sent home 6 winners from this race
- The winners tend to be rated at 139 or above.
Our Picks
This really is a tricky one - we'll start with Apple's Shakira who is unbeaten since crossing the channel - with three from three all achieved at this venue, and all achieved with plenty in hand if truth be told, which suggests there could be a good deal more to come if required.
She gets the 7lb mares allowance, and has proved in her three starts that she handles the ground well - all three came on soft ground, and all three over this same trip. Basically she's already proved a great deal before they've even reached the start line.
The other I'm interested in is Stormy Ireland, who ticks a fair few of the form lines, and she ran out a hefty 58 length winner over at Fairyhouse recently in a solid time. The distance of victory says a lot about the quality (or lackthereof) in that race, but you can only beat what's put in front of you. It's hard to back a 7/4 shot and an 11/2 shot in the same race, but with the offers from Sky Bet or Betway for money back, it's probably worth including.
1pt ew Stormy Ireland (Sky Bet or Betway for Money Back Special)
1pt win Apple's Shakira at 7/4 (Sky Bet or Betway)
