Blakemount looks a standout performer in the field lining up for the 4:45pm at Wetherby on Thursday, having won on soft ground (2 wins from 5 starts), at this class (2 wins from 6 starts), at Wetherby (only one other course winner in the field), and having previous decent form over this trip.

Goodtoknow is the obvious rival in our view, although the market prefers Wings Attract which goes off as favourite if nothing changes. That's a surprise given the doubts about his ability to handle the ground.
It looks every bit a race for those rich on stamina, and that should allow Danny Cooks mount to defy top weight in this one - just see his form in the Midlands Grand National and the Scottish Grand National for confirmation.
1pt Blakemount to win the 4:45pm at Wetherby at 11/4
