Madrid Derby

The Madrid Derby is always a fiesty affair, and this season should be no different with just four points between the sides.

Real Madrid are in great form and should be able to field a full team courtesy of their 3-0 win in Juventus ensuring no concerns over reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League.
First up, and the bookings markets are always worth a look in this fixture. Of course the bookies know what sort of affairs these can be, so there is rarely value in just betting on there to be lots of cards, but focussing in a little closer, and Diego Godin looks a really interesting proposition.
Godin has been shown a card in six of his last eight matches against Real Madrid, and 12 of the last 19. In short, he's quite happy to give the likes of Ronaldo or Benzema a good kick to let them know he's there.
The Uruguayan is 6/4 to be shown a card with Bet Fred.
On the goal scorer stakes, it's arguable that Cristiano Ronaldo isn't short enough at 5/6 to score in this match. He has scored 21 times in 30 meetings with Atletico, including a hattrick in last season's Champions League semi-finals and a hattick in La Liga last season. His recent form has seen him score in nine successive matches, and he has netted 23 times in 12 matches for Real Madrid. Wow!
2pts Diego Godin to be shown a card at 6/4 (Betfred)
2pts Ronaldo to score at anytime at 5/6 (General)
