Storm Over gets the vote for our Horse of the Day on Tuesday when he goes for Robert Cowell at Newmarket in a 5f sprint.
This is his first time back on track since winning at a better grade up at Catterick and he is arguably not yet fully within the handicappers grip. The long break could be a concern, but Cowell has an excellent record with his runners returning following a break, and you'd be ahead to level stakes on all his flat runners returning after a break of 60days+ from a decent sample of 84 runners over the past five years.
He looks likely to hit the ground running on his return and has the speed figures to excel at this venue. At 3/1 there will be worse bets to be found on Tuesday.
